Luna
Her wisdom is ancient
everlasting
She has silently watched
And Looked down upon us
As we took our first breath of life
She has watched
As we took our very first steps
Made our first mistakes
She was there
Her faces always changing
But always the same
She has forever been a beacon
To those who are lost
Lonely and afraid
Her brilliant glow
Has always shown bright
Against a dark, infinite canvas
She has always been
And always will be
She will watch
As we take our very last breath
Shed our very last tear
She will always remain
An ancient wisdom
Waiting to greet us
Patiently waiting for us to return
